BJJ Academies in Argentina.
Argentina's BJJ scene is fragmented across three competition bodies running parallel national circuits. CAJJ (Confederación Argentina de Jiu-Jitsu) operates as the sole governing body following IBJJF regulation. AAJJB (Asociación Argentina de Jiu-Jitsu Brasileño), based at Av. Córdoba 4156 in CABA, runs IBJJF-ruleset events including the Campeonato Buenos Aires de Jiu-Jitsu and the Campeonato MERCOSUR. CNBJJ (Circuito Nacional de Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) runs an additional independent circuit. The international layer comes through the AJP Tour Buenos Aires International Jiu-Jitsu Championship at Parque Olímpico de la Juventud and the recurring AJP Tour Argentina National Championship.
The team map is Buenos Aires-heavy. Alliance Jiu-Jitsu Argentina (Buenos Aires) operates under affiliation with Fabio Gurgel. Outside the capital, Nova União Córdoba on Marcelo Garlot 3143 represents the team in central Argentina.
Argentina's most internationally-decorated competitor is Nazareno Malegarie — a two-time IBJJF World Champion at blue belt featherweight (2003, 2004) and Pancrase Featherweight Champion (2017) — who fights out of Buenos Aires and trains at Ataque Duplo in Brazil.
