Welcome to MatDrop. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our service.
1. Description of Service
MatDrop is a directory and discovery platform for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academies. We provide tools to search, browse, and find information about academies including locations, contact details, and more.
2. Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information about academies
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its systems
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the service beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to it
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
4. Academy Listings
Academy information on MatDrop is provided for informational purposes only. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate, but we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any listing. Academy hours, pricing, and availability may change without notice.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay the applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your payment card details
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Intellectual Property
The MatDrop service, including its design, code, logos, and content (excluding user-submitted data), is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our service without our written permission.
7. User Content
If you submit content to the service (such as academy suggestions or edits), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the service. You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatDrop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
