Claim your academy's listing
If your gym is on MatDrop, you can take over its listing and keep it accurate. Claiming is free.
How claiming works
- Step 1
Find your academy
Search for it on the academy search and open its page.
- Step 2
Claim it
Use the “Is this your gym?” box on the page. You'll sign in with Google or Discord, pick your role, and tell us how we can verify you (a staff page that lists you, an email on the gym's domain, a link that proves it).
- Step 3
Get verified
A person on our side reviews every claim. Nothing is approved automatically. While it's pending, the academy page tells you your claim is under review.
- Step 4
Keep it up to date
Once approved, your dashboard lets you edit the listing yourself: description, phone, email, website, a photo link, drop-in fee and policy, plus your class schedule and events.
Featured listings
Featured is a paid upgrade for claimed academies. A Featured academy gets:
- a “Featured” label on its card and its academy page
- the top spots in its city's academy list
- the top spots in the academy list on the search map
We're upfront with visitors about it: wherever Featured academies come first, the list says they pay for placement. The rest of the list keeps its normal order.
Featured isn't on sale yet. When it is, the owner of a claimed listing will find it in their dashboard.
Can't find your gym?
Send us its details and we'll add it. Once it's live you can claim it like any other listing.
