Switzerland's BJJ scene runs under the Swiss Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu National Federation (SBJJNF), the country's leading organization for the sport. The federation runs the Zurich Autumn Open, Zurich Spring Open, and Zurich Summer Open as the domestic competition circuit.

Zurich is the country's BJJ hub. Frota Academy operates a 850+ m² facility in central Zurich, blending Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, and fitness. BJJ Lab Zürich runs in Zürich Oerlikon with daily morning, lunch, evening, and weekend classes. Atos Jiu-Jitsu Zurich carries the Atos team affiliation in the city. GFTeam Zurich (also branded Para Bellum BJJ Academy) represents the GFTeam Rio team affiliation in Switzerland.
