Colombia's BJJ scene runs primarily out of Bogotá and Medellín, with the Federación Colombiana de Jiu Jitsu acting as the national governing body for the sport.

In Bogotá, Alliance Colombia at Calle 140 # 15-36 carries the Alliance team affiliation in the country. Affinity Studios Bogotá is led by black belt Carlos Quintero. Medellín — increasingly a BJJ-tourism destination — hosts Affinity Jiu-Jitsu Medellín, the Cobrinha Jiu Jitsu Medellín affiliate in Poblado (under instructor Yiyo, in the network led by Rubens "Cobrinha" Charles), and MMA Colombia under head coach Daniel Nogueira, a Brazilian black belt from GFTeam.
