The Czech Republic's BJJ scene is concentrated in Prague, with Jungle BJJ as the country's anchor academy. Jungle BJJ is led by Fernando Araujo — a 4th-degree black belt under Francisco "Toco" Albuquerque (Nova Geração lineage) — and is described as the only Czech academy where Brazilian black-belt champions teach daily. The academy recently relocated to a new room at Za Elektrárnou 419 (Tipsport Arena) in Prague 7 and runs affiliated branches across Europe in Ufa and Kirov, Russia, and Dublin, Ireland.

Other Prague rooms include 5th Dimension Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Choketopus Gym (combining BJJ, MMA, and Krav Maga). The country also hosts Gracie Barra Czech Team Draculino — a Gracie Barra affiliate carrying the Vinicius "Draculino" Magalhães lineage. The ADCC Czech Open ran in 2024 as a regional Eastern European stop.
