BJJ Academies in Denmark.
Denmark's BJJ scene punches well above the country's size. The annual BJJ Globetrotters Copenhagen Camp — six days of training with 20+ black belt instructors and 45+ classes across gi and no-gi — runs every September; the 2026 edition is set for September 14–19.
Choke Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was established in 2004 in Copenhagen and is described on its site as the most traditional BJJ organization in Denmark — the only Danish group directly connected to the Gracie family in Brazil and the United States. Other Copenhagen rooms include Hive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Arte Suave (described on its site as Denmark's largest combat-sports club). Danish Open BJJ runs the country's main domestic competition circuit; Denmark also hosted Scandinavia's first official IBJJF-sanctioned tournament.
