Osaka is Japan's second BJJ city after Tokyo, with a steady cluster of academies anchored by Carpe Diem BJJ Osaka — the Osaka branch of the Carpe Diem network founded by Yuki Ishikawa in 2013 (the academy now spans Aoyama, Mita, Osaka, and additional Japanese branches).

Tri-Force Jiu-Jitsu Academy Osaka is led by instructor Hideyuki Kawamoto and operates at Debis Bldg 5F, Minami-honmachi 2-4-16, Chuo-ku, Osaka-shi. Other Osaka rooms cover gi and no-gi training across the metro, all feeding into the JBJJF national circuit headquartered in Tokyo.
