Chile's BJJ scene is concentrated in Santiago, with multiple affiliate networks operating across the metro. Academia BJJF (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Figueroa) was founded in 2008 in Santiago by Professor José Luis Figueroa, with IBJJF, ADCC, and CBJJD certifications. Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu Chile — the country's official Carlson Gracie team school — sits in the Ñuñoa district of Santiago under black belt Eduardo Campos.
