BJJ Academies in Île-de-France.
Île-de-France is France's BJJ center of gravity — the Paris region carries the bulk of the country's competition layer and team-affiliate infrastructure. France runs Brazilian jiu-jitsu under the Confédération Française de Jiu Jitsu Brésilien (CFJJB), which joined France Judo (FFJDA) in 2021 under an agreement giving BJJ institutional recognition while preserving its autonomy.
Atos Jiu-Jitsu Paris is led by head coach and founder Gary Bilal — a state-certified trainer and BJJ black belt — at 26 Boulevard Ferdinand Buisson in Neuilly-sur-Marne. The parent Atos organization was built in 2008 by Andre Galvão and Ramon Lemos. Maccabi Paris runs in the 10th arrondissement near République. Icon Brazilian Jiu Jitsu also operates in the Paris region.
