BJJ Academies in Attica.

Attica is Greece's BJJ center of gravity — the region containing Athens, Piraeus, and the Greater Athens conurbation, which together host the bulk of the country's BJJ rooms.

The Hellenic Ju Jitsu Federation (EFEO) — Greece's national governing body — is registered in Piraeus and runs the country's main domestic competition surface. The AJP Tour Greece National Jiu-Jitsu Championship runs annually in Athens; the 2026 edition is set for June 6, 2026.

Athens academies include Rock Jiu Jitsu Athens at Souliou 10 in Aghios Dimitrios — led by 4th-degree black belt David Dimopoulos Said (under Fabio Gurgel and Fernando "Soluço" Di Pierro) and one of the longest-running BJJ rooms in the country, carrying the Alliance affiliation. Primal Art Academy / Zr Team Greece is led by black belt Nikolas Polydoros. Maverick Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy operates out of Lykovrisi.
